The interior design for Sushi Yoshi has earned the prestigious Bronze Award from A’ Design Award.
Drawing abundant inspiration from modern Japan, the restaurant’s ambiance mirrors the vibrant streets of Tokyo, inviting patrons to embark on a journey of discovery with intriguing elements at every turn.
Preserving the practicality of the existing kitchen and serving station, the innovative concept strategically divides the expansive space, utilizing varied materials to spark interest.
A captivating giant cardboard sculpture of a Kokeshi doll warmly welcomes guests, while the double-height, fully glazed entrance offers a glimpse of the interior, showcasing the grand wall and ceiling features constructed from pale timbers.
Modern geometric structures, seamlessly weave through the design, harmonizing with traditional Japanese screens and lanterns. Restaurant Interior design skilfully incorporates shuttered concrete and 3D printed koi ornaments as screens, delineating unique areas within the restaurant. The juxtaposition of Portuguese split-faced granite and smooth Carrara marble elegantly defines the serving counters, presenting a dynamic interplay of textures and aesthetics.
