Blenheim Design are creating new visitors centre, café, wine shop and tasting rooms for Bolney Winery, well known for Pinot Noir, Rondo, Dornfelder, Chardonnay, Bacchus and Pinot Gris grape varieties.
Situated in the heartland of one of the largest wine-producing counties in England, Bolney Wines are one of the pioneers of the English sparkling wines in Sussex.
New plans include converting a warehouse into the visitor centre – a decision that aligned with Bolney Wines commitment to sustainability. Ground floor will house two wine tour rooms, shop with tasting station serving Bolney wines as well as local produce and sister wines - Pearls of Europe by Freixenet Copestick.
The interiors, designed by Blenheim design features couple of interlocking rooms where guests can sip wine and learn about vinification. Rooms will feature licensed bar and informative wall with wine storage facilities. Visitors will be able to relax outdoors and take in the scenery, taste locally prepared produce in the café with seating for 50 customers.
Blenheim design paired off-white walls with warehouse concrete floor, chalk and Sussex oak to provide a space which celebrates community and friends through the experience of wine.
Established in 2008, Blenheim Design has completed an array of projects including Shoryu Restaurants, Tonkotsu Restaurant, Brimstone Hotel refreshas well as Michelin star Da Terra in Town Hall Hotel.
