Situated in the diverse SoMa neighbourhood in San Francisco, stone throw away from the Financial District, Yerba Buena Gardens and Union Square is the Park Central Hotel.
After a long walk Blenheim Design stumbled across this hotel by chance. We were immediately smitten with effortlessly stylish interior and laid back feel of the hotel lobby.
We could not help but notice elegantly appointed chandeliers, lavish floral arrangements and striped sofas. We sat down by the metallic clad open fire. Could not help but feel like this was American take on Russian ‘kaljeva pec, pechka’ with metallic tiles. Comfort first!
Dark timber panelled walls and columns sat on stone floor and strategically placed oversize art adorned plain walls. Lounge was scattered with comfortable colourful armchairs and natural tan sofas.
Lounge and dining area were separated with leather and metal screen on timber plinth concealing HVAC.
Church candles flickering inside large black lanterns are just one of the many lighting points and layers within this hotel.
Bespoke blackened steel screens and large lanterns segregate flexible indoor spaces and the hotel lobby.
Contemporary design and majestic ambiance are words we used to describe this hotel.
